The challenge in Toronto, when it comes to Halloween, is to organize an event that is unique and different from the rest. This was the mission that Neighbourhood intended to pursue when managing Halloween 2018 at the Toronto Event Centre, formerly known as, Muzik.
In order to stand out from the rest of the Halloween events in Toronto, Neighbourhood ensured that it gave people a reason to attend. Being the only event organizer in the city to have booked talent, Neighbourhood booked Anders. Anders is a Canadian R&B singer and songwriter. Anders initially gained popularity after his hit single “Diamonds” and is best known for the EP, Twos and his collaboration with Canadian DJ duo Loud Luxury for the song “Love No More”. The sold-out venue, hosting more than 1500 people, offers an open-concept space and is an iconic location in Toronto.
Attendees were able to purchase tickets through our innovative partner, xTickets.
All digital ads and marketing efforts, including design and branding, was done by Neighbourhood. Our target audience was male and female, ages 20- 35 in Toronto. Our marketing strategy focused on our special guest Anders, the magic of our venue and sponsors that would be taking part in the event. Neighbourhood’s focus was to make the Halloween event as experiential as possible, differentiating this event from others in the city. Active Toronto brands such as Siempre Tequila, Lost Craft Beer and Vype Canada all came together to sponsor this event, bringing unique products and services.
