The Movember Series’ mission is to create experiences that cater to changing the face of men’s health. Moreover, the organization strives to connect and create community in the city of Toronto. Neighbourhood was previously involved in working with the Movember Foundation, but in 2018, the sense of community and connection was stronger than ever.
Neighbourhood strategically organized events throughout the month of November to target different demographics in the city to increase both awareness and participation. Each event had its own sponsors, contests and complementary products and services that supported the cause and increased foot traffic. Some sponsors included brands such as Puma, Siempre Tequila, GP8 Oxygen Water, Kollar and Lost Craft. In terms of product, the merchandise was specifically designed, developed and sold
alongside Toronto brand Kollar as well as Brimz and Inaria, to implement throughout the events. The events were hosted at Toronto’s hottest venues and spaces that best reflected the city such as Lamport Stadium, EFS, Mo House and APEX Training Centre.
The goal was to expose the Movember Series brand to its fullest to the Toronto community and make this very community one. Therefore, the events became welcoming experiences, influencers became citizens and brands came to life through their support. The Toronto-centric approach included special ambassadors such as TFC Midfielder Jonathan Osorio, Founder of CultTO Sergio Senatore, ET Canada producer Nicole Servinis and Toronto-born actress Vic Baldesarra. Influencers, brands and sponsors all came together under one roof to support the Movember Series’ mission and cause, becoming one with the citizens of Toronto.
